I had travelled by myself to New York, but this trip felt different after a tough couple of months. I was intent on disappearing into the city, and revisiting places I remembered from trips past to see them with new perspectives. There was a sense of change in the air, and looking back at the work I still see unease in what I decided to capture. A season changing to grey that only highlights the empty space around it.
